The plight of Nigeria has gained much recognition in recent times, so much that international acts have also started lending their voices to the cause.
One to be mentioned is Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie who has condemned the abduction of the 200 Chibok girls by Boko Haram, calling it 'evil'.
She spoke in Paris about the themes of her latest film, ‘Maleficent’ for Disney, where she plays a vindictive fairy driven to curse an infant princess, Jolie said; “Sadly of course there is real evil in the world, you watch the news and you see all of the people suffering and so much cruelty.”
“And it’s unthinkable cruelty like these girls that were kidnapped in Nigeria. Unthinkable cruelty and evil, she said.
