Shouts heralded the air on friday night as Akudo Ezinne Anyaoha Miss Nigeria 2013 stepped into her parents compound in Owerri.
Family and friends had gathered to welcome her home and to celebrate with her on her success at the Miss Nigeria beauty Pageant Grand finale.
Ezinne who was accompanied by her first and second runner ups was met by her parents, grandmother, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins as well as friends and well wishers.
Mr and Mrs Anyaoha - parents of the Queen expressed their happiness in seeing their second daughter emerge Miss Nigeria 2013.
The Anyaohas also welcomed Miss Celestine - 1st runner up and Miss Sadiq the 2nd runner up into their home.
Mr and Mrs Anyaoha however urged Miss Celestine and Miss Sadiq to work in Unison in confronting the big tasks ahead of them as Queen ambassadors for the nation.
Mr Anyaoha bid them to be good role models to women all over the world as well as use this platform to further enhance and assist Nigerians especially women.
Similarly Miss Sadiq who hails from Edo state decided to visit her grand mother before continuing the journey home.
She was received by her grand mother, cousins, her mother's only sister and her uncle inlaw.
Miss Sadiq fought hard to keep back the smiles and tears that enveloped her as she met with them. It was a happy moment for her family in Owerri.
Her aunt and Uncle expressed their joys on seeing Sadiq emerge 2nd runner up.
They however acknowledged that while watching the grand Finale at home they entertained fears that Olive Sadiq may not make it to the tops because of her low hair cut.
According to them, "that was a very bold decision to go on low cut when all other girls had their hair done in various styles. We are so happy that she could make it to the 2nd runner up because it's not easy".
They however thanked the organisers of the show.
1st runner up proceeded to Port Harcourt on Saturday to see her parents.
Daily Times reports that, Miss Akudo Ezinne Anyaoha emerged winner of Miss Nigeria 2013 at the grand Finale of the show on 6th July at the Intercontinental hotel Victoria Island Lagos with Miss Queen Celestine as 1st runner up and Miss Olive Sadiq as 2nd runner up.
